Mumbai PRS services will remain shut on November 30 night, here's why

According to a statement, several services will be unavailable, including -- the Passenger Reservation System, coaching refunds, charting activities, train firing, IVRS, current reservations, chart display, touch screens, refund counters, and coaching refund terminals

Central Railway on Friday announced that the Mumbai Passenger Reservation System (PRS) will be temporarily shut down from 11:45 pm on November 30, 2025 to 1:30 am on December 1, 2025.
The shutdown is required to change the station code of Banaras station from “BSBS” to “BNRS”, officials said.
