The QR-code-based railway pass will soon be back in a new form. To be termed as the Universal Travel Pass for Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the state government’s Disaster Management Team has decided to implement its use for the Mumbai suburban local trains. The railways said that they have been working jointly with the state government and would ensure full support in rolling out the pass system once again.
