Schools across Dadar, Mahim, and Sion began sending students home early due to heavy rainfall this morning and the risk of waterlogging around school premises.

The Dr. Antonio da Silva High School near Kabutarkhana in Dadar West cancelled its primary section, which runs in the second half of the day. Secondary school students already present are being released once parents arrive to collect them. Officially, classes were scheduled until 12:50.

In Mahim, KJ Khilnani School released secondary students by 10:30 am, anticipating flooding. The decision was taken as many students come from Dharavi, Sion, and other flood-prone areas. The primary section, held in the afternoon, was given the day off.
