Mumbai records 1,037 Covid-19 cases, doubling rate at 345 days

After recording a jump in the TPR and new cases on May 23, Mumbai is seeing a significant drop in both.

Mumbai recorded new Covid-19 cases close to the 1,000 mark for the second consecutive day on Tuesday and a Test Positivity Rate (TPR) below 5 per cent. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) report, the city saw 1,037 new cases with a TPR of 4.94 and 37 deaths.

After recording a jump in the TPR and new cases on May 23, Mumbai is seeing a significant drop in both.
