Mumbai registers marginal drop in daily Covid-19 cases

The state’s case fatality rate remained constant at 2.12 per cent. A total of 677 patients recovered and were discharged on Sunday, leaving 7,151 active cases in the state

The number of daily Covid-19 cases in the city dropped on Sunday to 213 from 219 registered the day before. The test positivity rate (TPR) remained the same, at 0.54 per cent, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s report. 

The city registered the second wave’s lowest TPR, at 0.28 per cent, on December 1.
