Mumbai’s positivity rate jumps past 2 per cent after 10 days

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) latest report, the daily COVID-19 cases increased significantly to 664 on Wednesday. It was 453 the day before.

Mumbai’s test positivity rate (TPR) for Covid-19 jumped past 2 per cent after almost a week. The TPR had dropped below 2 per cent on June 28 and was 1.48 per cent on Tuesday. However, it rose to 2.07 per cent on Wednesday.
