Mumbai sees 803 fresh Covid-19 cases, 10 deaths reported

Around 81 percent of the patients turning positive on Tuesday were asymptomatic as 152 people were hospitalised of which 31 are in the oxygen bed

Daily cases in Mumbai remained below 1,000 on Tuesday. With increased tests, the city recorded its test positivity rate below 2. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, 803 cases were reported with 7 deaths in the city, while the TPR stood at 1.55 per cent. In the third wave, the highest TPR recorded in Mumbai has been 29.9 per cent on January 6.

Six of the COVID fatalities had comorbidities. While one of them was in the age group of 40- 60 year, the rest were above 60.
