A mesmerising light and sound show on the occasion of 170 years of Indian Railways and World Heritage Day enthralled audiences. The story of Indian Railways was narrated to nine emotions, Navarasaa with dance light and sound show with 1,100 lights on the building.
Beginning narration by the characters of the founding directors of the first railway company Great Indian Peninsula Railway, Jagannath Sunkersett and Jamshetjee Jeejeebhoy, the event narrated the story from the foundation day to contemporary events, including renaming of Victoria Terminus to Mumbai CSMT. The first train in Asia (and India) ran between Mumbai and Thane on Saturday, April 16, 1853.
