Global electric vehicle giant Tesla on Monday launched India`s first charging station in Mumbai, weeks after entering the country`s automobile market.
The charging station, located at One BKC in the Bandra-Kurla Complex, includes four V4 supercharging (DC) stalls and four destination charging (AC) stalls, the company said, according to the news agency PTI.
Tesla also announced plans to open three more charging stations by the end of the September quarter, at Lower Parel, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
