The Mumbai police has initiated a probe to trace the sender of the message while security agencies have been asked to be on alert

The Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room received a bomb threat on Friday morning. The control room received the text message from an unknown person claiming that "bombs have been placed at six locations across Mumbai", news agency ANI reported.
The traffic control room at Worli received a message around 12.30 am on Friday, claiming that there would be blasts in Mumbai as bombs had been placed at six locations in the country`s financial capital, reported PTI.
