Uddhav Thackeray allocates Rs 1.3 crore from MLC funds to light up Shivaji Park

I request you to allocate Rs 1.2 crore from my MLC funds for additional illumination of this walkway, Thackeray said in his letter.

In a bid to revamp Dadar's iconic Shivaji Park, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray recently allocated Rs 1.25 crore from his Member of Legislative Council (MLC) funds.
According to a report in Times of India, the funds will be used to illuminate walkways at Shivaji Park. Earlier, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had allocated Rs 4 crore to revamp Shivaji Park.
