Living up to the yellow alert given by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Mumbai and surrounding districts, Wednesday looked just like a day from the Monsoon season. In the last 24 hours, Mumbai’s Santacruz and Colaba observatories have recorded rainfall of 0.6- and 1.2-mm respectively and the rain is expected to continue throughout the day.
