Mumbai is likely to experience a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain on Thursday, with the possibility of heavy showers at isolated locations, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and neighbouring Thane and Palghar districts, warning of heavy rainfall at isolated places over the weekend. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre in Mumbai, heavy rain is expected in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, and Ratnagiri on August 16 and 17.
