On Thursday morning, Mumbai was enveloped in a layer of haze that obscured its skyline despite the 'good' air quality. Meanwhile, the mercury dipped two degrees below the normal temperature. According to the Mumbai weather updates of the India Meteorological Department, the Colaba observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celcius which is 2.2 degrees below the normal temperature. Santacruz observatory, the Met department data showed, recorded a temperature of 34.4 degrees.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius. While the relative humidity is yet to be ascertained, the wind speed is 1.9 km/h.
