Citizens not on the voters' list must register on or before April 1 to be able to vote on April 30,u00a0said a report inu00a0the Times of India.

Application forms No 6 and No 001A can be downloaded from the website http://ceo.maharashtra.gov.in. Citizens must submit the forms at any of the 36 central polling booths in the city by April 1.

Those with no internet access can pick up the forms from a central polling station. "While Form 6 is for registration, Form 001A helps get a voter ID card,'' said island city collector I Z Kundan.

Citizens must carry two passport photos and proof of identity, such as a driving license or PAN card. Those whose names are on the list, but need a voter-ID card can submit Form 001B.
