Doubling rate marginally improves but recovery rate remains constant at 97 per cent

Mumbai saw a significant drop in both fresh Covid cases and test positivity rate (TPR) on Thursday and reported one death. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 230 new cases were reported while the TPR was 0.59 per cent. The deceased had comorbidities and was above 60 years of age.
The city witnessed zero deaths for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic on October 17. The doubling rate marginally improved and was 2,187 days on Thursday. The city’s recovery rate remained constant at 97 per cent, as 204 people were discharged after full recovery on Thursday.
