After recording more than 100 Covid-19 cases for two straight days, Mumbai reported 90 new infections on Thursday, taking the tally to 10,59,635. No fresh fatality was registered, keeping the death toll unchanged at 19,562, said a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation bulletin.

The city’s positivity rate, or cases detected per 100 tests, was 0.011 per cent, while the recovery rate was 98 per cent, it said. As many as 8,862 tests were carried out in the city, taking their cumulative number to 1,68,76,617, the bulletin said.
