Maharashtra’s case fatality rate remained constant at 2.12 per cent as 1,901 people were discharged after full recovery on Monday

Mumbai`s fresh COVID-19 cases dipped below 300 along with a drop in the test positivity rate (TPR) on Monday. As per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 267 new cases were reported along with four deaths. All of the four deceased had comorbidities. While one of them was in the age group of 40-60 years, the other three were above 60 years of age.
The doubling rate improved to 1,595 days on Monday. The city’s recovery rate remained constant at 97 per cent as 420 people were discharged after full recovery. New cases in the state saw a significant dip as it fell below 1,000 along with a drop in COVID-19 fatalities. As per the state health department report, 809 cases were reported along with 10 deaths across the state.
