A 30-year-old man was arrested on Sunday for touching his private parts in front of a house help inside the lift of a residential building in Taloja. The accused also touched the woman inappropriately. The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and came to light after another resident of the building learnt about it and informed Navi Mumbai police.

The incident took place on Friday morning when the woman was heading to a flat in Marble Arch, Taloja to work. The accused, who was in the lift with her, kept touching his private parts from the ground floor till the 12th floor. “The incident occurred at 9.51 am, following which the 33-year-old woman went to work. Later that day, when the woman was leaving the building around 10.43 am the man touched the woman in front of the lift,” said a cop from Taloja police station.
