Mumbai Police on Thursday said that it penalised over 13,700 traffic violators during its special drink-and-drive checks on New Year’s eve.
According to the police, Mumbai Traffic Police carried out a law enforcement drive across the city on December 31, 2025. The operation aimed to ensure strict compliance with traffic rules and improve road safety during the festive period.
