Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Friday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concerning the altercation within the Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan. He alleged that individuals with serious criminal backgrounds were being inducted into the party.

In a statement to the press, Raut stated that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should dissolve his government, and that President's rule ought to be imposed in the state, according to the news agency PTI. 

Supporters of BJP Member of Legislative Assembly Gopichand Padalkar and Nationalist Congress Party (S) legislator Jitendra Awhad engaged in a physical altercation within the Maharashtra legislature complex on Thursday.
