Potholes on the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road at Nahur East forced a Mulund youth to stay home for a week. Shrey Shah had a minor accident at the junction of Mulund Railway Godown and MGLR last week due to a pothole.
Shrey, who works with a leading IT company in Powai, narrated the incident, “I was heading to my office from home last Tuesday around 12.15 pm. Normally, Lal Bahadur Shastri Road is the nearest option, but I avoid it due to traffic congestion and potholes. I use the Eastern Express Highway and then the Vikhroli-Jogeshwari Link Road,” he said. “On that day, I was using the same road, riding at a speed of 40 to 45 kilometres per hour, with light drizzling. Suddenly, I noticed a pothole that was not visible from a distance due to accumulated water,” Shrey added.
