Pune Police have apprehended a 17-year-old kid for allegedly attempting to run over a woman with his car following a violent altercation, officials said on Monday. The incident occurred on Saturday in Vadgaon Ghenand hamlet in the Alandi district, and it has generated comparisons to a similar instance from May 19, when a juvenile driving a Porsche collided with a motorbike in Pune`s Kalyani Nagar, killing two IT professionals, reported PTI. 

In the prior accident, the juvenile driver is still in a correctional facility, while his parents, both doctors and an alleged intermediary are in jail.
