Over 23 per cent of employees on Central Railway and nearly 40 per cent on Western railway are yet to get even their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

The Railways had set a target of August 15 to fully vaccinate all its city employees, however, it has been lagging due to the increased gap between two doses of Covishield and frequent unavailability of vaccines.
As of Sunday, 73.18 per cent of the total 32,547 employees on Central Railway’s Mumbai division have either received both their Covid-19 shots or at least the first dose.
