Mumbai: Wall collapses on houses in Chembur amid rains, families rescued

Two families, with four members each, have been rescued and given shelter in Mumbai Public School, Maravli, after the wall collapse in Chembur, while an another family has moved in with their relatives, officials said

A protection wall collapsed in Mumbai's Chembur area amid heavy rains in the city, damaging multiple shanties, civic officials said.
There were no reports of injuries in the incident, they said.
The incident took place at the New Ashok Nagar locality of Chembur in eastern suburbs of Mumbai on Sunday.
