The Shiv Sena has named Ravindra Waikar as its candidate for the Mumbai North West constituency for Lok Sabha Elections 2024, a party official announced on Tuesday.

Before joining the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Waikar was a close associate of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray. Waikar is currently serving as an MLA from Jogeshwari in Mumbai, reported PTI. The report further stated that party secretary Sanjay More verified Waikar's candidature for Mumbai North West for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. He will be up against Shiv Sena member Amol Kirtikar (UBT).
