Sunday was the coldest day of the season for Mumbai

The temperature is expected to remain around 13 to 14 degrees celsius today; this week, temperatures are expected to rise one degree every day

With the minimum temperature dipping to 13.8 degrees Celsius, the city experienced the coldest day of the season on Sunday. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Santacruz observatory recorded a minimum temperature of 13.8 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below normal, while the Colaba observatory recorded 16.2 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday, the minimum temperature recorded at the Santacruz observatory was 15.2 degrees Celsius, while Colaba recorded 17.4 degrees Celsius. The mean maximum temperature for January is 31.1 degrees Celsius, while the mean minimum temperature is 17.3 degrees Celsius.
