Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule on Monday met the family of the young female doctor who allegedly died by suicide at the Sub-District Hospital in Phaltan, Satara district, and demanded a fair and transparent investigation into the incident.

The deceased doctor had reportedly written a suicide note on her palm, alleging mental harassment, before taking the extreme step. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused.
