Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir on Saturday laid the foundation stone for a mosque modelled on Ayodhya`s Babri Masjid at Rejinagar in West Bengal`s Murshidabad district, escalating political temperatures in the state where the assembly elections are due next year.
