While it may be premature to say that sex crimes by juveniles are spiralling out of control, government data indicates there is indeed cause for concern. In the latest episode, two kids from Vile Parle locked their seven-year-old neighbour in their home, and allegedly tried to rape her.

The girl’s parents and other locals reached the accused’s residence in the nick of time, and rescued her, after finding her missing. Cops were called and they took the boys into custody.
