Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who was admitted to a hospital here, is recuperating well and is likely to be discharged on Friday, doctors attending on him said on Thursday.

The 82-year-old leader, who was admitted to the Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra on February 26 after he complained of fever and weakness, was shifted from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) yesterday and is doing fine, they said.
