<p>On Saturday, five new cases of Covid-19 were reported in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/maharashtra-four-tiger-cubs-found-dead-in-tadoba-andhari-reserves-buffer-zone-23258766" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Maharashtra</a>`s <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-crime-news/article/thane-two-booked-for-extortion-in-ulhasnagar-23258757" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a> district, as per the health bulletin. The infection count increased to to 7,47,344.</p>

<p>The number of active Covid-19 cases in Thane district, which comes under MMR has come down to 59. On Friday, the active count of the district was 71, the official said.</p><p>
