<p><strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Thane-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a></strong> district on Thursday reported 11 new <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-reports-100-new-covid-19-cases-active-cases-now-at-688-23248116" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19 cases</a></strong>. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,649, according to a bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).</p>
<p>According to the bulletin, no coronavirus related death was reported on September 29. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.</p>

<p>With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 105 active Covid-19 cases.</p>
<p>13 Covid-19 patients recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,382. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.85 per cent.</p><p>
