Thane: Slab of first floor of building collapses in Kalwa, 3 injured

Following the information, officials from the fire brigade, disaster management cell, Kalwa Police, along with emergency vehicles and rescue vehicles rushed to the spot for rescue operations, the RDMC said

Three people were injured after a slab of the first floor of a building collapsed on Monday morning, the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) said. 

According to the RDMC, the disaster management cell received the information of the incident at around 10:30 am. As per the information, the slab of Vikrant/43 building located near Taran Lake in Manisha Nagar, Kalwa, Thane (west) collapsed. The building is a ground plus three storey structure and is around 38 years old. The slab collapsed on a salon below the room on the first floor.
