Sources said the DB Marg police were informed around 3 am that a person in a maroon shirt was lying on the Girgaon seafront. The cops found the person motionless. They sent the body to Sir J J Hospital for post-mortem. Five hours later, the Malabar Hill cops were alerted about a body between the rocks on the seashore in their jurisdiction. The man had a blue shirt on him. This bod was also sent to JJ hospital.
Police sources said they are trying to find out if there is any link between the men. Apart from scanning the footage of CCTV cameras on roads and lanes leading to the scens, they are also talking to locals for clues. “The post-mortem reports say that the cause of death is drowning. We are trying to identify them,” said a police officer.
