BJP member Varun Gandhi, whom Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray had backed over his alleged hate speeches and described him as 'the one Gandhi we like', has thanked the latter for the support.

"I am overwhelmed by his support. I am grateful to him and thank him," party mouthpiece Saamna today quoted Varun as saying.
