In a bid to attract customers, a Vasai-based restaurant is organising Oktoberfest at their premises for which they claim to have secured all the permissions required to run the 45-days food festival.

There are three owners of Vasai Republic - Pooja Naik, Sharmila Naik and Nital Gonsalves. “Oktoberfest is the world’s biggest beer, food and entertainment festival. It is held in Germany every year. We will start the Oktoberfest at the Vasai Republic on September 20 and it will culminate after 45 days,” said Pooja.
