<p>One person was killed and the another severely injured after a speeding BEST bus ran over a biker opposite SJ Studio in the western Mumbai suburb of Sakinaka on Wednesday evening.</p>
<p>The tragic incident took place at around 7 pm in the evening when a BEST bus driver dashed into a red Activa bike being riden by two youngsters.</p>
<p>The two youths -- Arun Poojari, 26, and Sumit Rajendra Chandanshive, 17, were rushed to Rajawadi Hospital. Poojari unfortunately could not be saved, but Chandanshive is still being treated.</p>
<p>After the incident, angry locals and the victims' kin started pelting stones and damaged the bus, plying on route number 421 -- from Ghatkopar to Filterpada,&nbsp;before the Sakinaka police got the situation under control. The cops arrested the&nbsp;driver, Tanaji Kumbhar. They also booked seven people for rioting and creating nuisance .</p>
<p>Senior police inspector Sakinaka, A Dharmadhikari told mid-day, "We have registered a case under 304A of IPC and arrested the driver. We are scanning&nbsp;the CCTV footages and investigating the case."</p>
