The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) star performer, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, said the party’s second success story was a strong public response to the opposition that conspired against his government when it was fighting the pandemic and corruption.
“Nationalism, development and good governance have won. The people of Uttar Pradesh have won today,” he said while addressing party workers at BJP’s state headquarters in Lucknow on Thursday. “Modi ji is a global leader. Not just the country but the world had their eyes on UP which is the most populated state,” he said.
