Leakage in 900-mm pipeline at Powai leads to water cut in Pali Hill, Malabar Hill and Worli; repair likely to be complete by 11 am today

Water supply in many parts of south Mumbai was affected from Friday due to leakage in a pipeline and it is likely to continue today. The repair work has started and will take a day for the water supply to continue from reservoirs in Malabar Hill, Pali Hill and Worli.
A 900-mm pipeline in Powai started leaking in the morning. The repair work started soon after around 11 am and is likely to be complete by 11 am on Saturday.
