Maha: Woman forest guard killed in tiger attack at Tadoba reserve

The body was immediately located with the help of the forest staff and taken for post mortem to Chimur Government Hospital

A female forest guard was killed by a tigress at the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra on Saturday.

Conservator of Forest and Field Director of TATR, Dr Jitendra Ramgaonkar said, “Forest guard Swati N Dhumane, Kolara beat, along with three helpers had started a sign survey at 7 am as a part of the All India Tiger Estimation (AITE) 2022 exercise.
