<p>At Thane station, block was undertaken for widening of the Platforms 5 &amp; 6. This will facilitate in installation of escalators and widening of foot-over-bridges (FOB).</p>

<p>A dedicated team of 350 labourers, including officers and supervisors is working round the clock to ensure the timely completion of the infrastructure upgrade works at Thane station.</p>

<p>Simultaneously, a 36-hour Special Block is underway at CSMT station for non-interlocking work in connection with the extension of Platforms 10 &amp; 11.</p>
