Preparation underways at Azad Maidan a day before the rally

As per the Shinde-led Sena faction, all the necessary permissions required to hold the Dussehra rally have been granted

CM Shinde-led Shiv Sena will hold the party’s Dussehra rally in Azad Maidan on October 24

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut stated that the annual Dussehra rally held at Dadar`s Shivaji Park has been a tradition and is a legacy of more than five decades

Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar, in a post on social media, revealed that the ruling party is retracting the application based on Shinde`s directive. This decision is seen as a conciliatory move aimed at ensuring the Hindu festival is celebrated with enthusiasm

Last year, the Shinde camp held its rally at the MMRDA ground in Mumbai`s Bandra-Kurla Complex

Earlier, both Senas (Shinde-led faction and Thackeray-led  faction) had applied for premission to hold Dussehra rally at Dadar`s Shivaji Park

A week before the rally, CM Shinde had held a meeting of all the Sena MPs to check the preparations
