<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reached Mumbai to inaugurate various projects in the city. PM Modi, during his visit also flagged off two new Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai`s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.</p>

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reached Mumbai to inaugurate various projects in the city. PM Modi, during his visit also flagged off two new Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai`s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

<p>During the flag off, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnavi were present at Mumbai`s iconic CSMT station for the flag off of the two new Vande Bharat Trains.</p>

<p>According to Railways, the existing superfast train takes 7 hours 55 minutes while Vande Bharat will complete the same journey in 6 hours 30 minutes, thus saving 1 hour 30 minutes of travel time. It will also connect pilgrimage centres, textile hubs, tourist sites and the education hub of Pune.</p>
