<p>Meanwhile, senior doctors Kunal Sarkar and Subarna Goswami were summoned by the Kolkata Police for their social media posts related to the incident.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police accused Sarkar and Goswami of spreading misinformation and disclosing the identity of the postgraduate trainee doctor who was allegedly raped and murdered while on duty.</p>

<p>The protest rally was stopped by police near Phears Lane-BB Ganguly Street Crossing, and the two doctors were escorted to the police headquarters.</p>
