<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had on Sunday issued a warning saying that several parts of Maharashtra including Thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Raigad and Kolhapur may experience a thunderstorm along with light rains</p>

<p>The IMD Mumbai, in its weather forecast earlier in the day, said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and light to moderate spells of rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Ratnagiri, Raigad, Thane, Palghar and Kolhapur</p>

The IMD Mumbai, in its weather forecast earlier in the day, said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and light to moderate spells of rain with gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Ratnagiri, Raigad, Thane, Palghar and Kolhapur
