According to preliminary information by Central Railway, nobody was injured in the incident

<p>CR Chief Public Relations Office Shivraj Manaspure said four wagons, including a brake van, of the freight train, headed to Vasai from Panvel, derailed on the Panvel-Kalamboli section at around 3.05 pm</p>

"ART (Accident relief train) from Kalyan and Kurla stations is being sent to the accident site," Manaspure informed

After the incident, around five passenger trains were detained at various spots on the Konkan-Mumbai route

Informing about the updates, the Central Railway on X posted, "Restoration work is going on. DRM/Mumbai and other officers are at accident site"

<p>Out of 59 wagons of goods train, 54 wagons are cleared from accident site and they are departed from site and brought to kalamboli goods yard, stated CR official</p>
