The pathway leading upto Matoshree has been illuminated with string lights while the the frontyard has been decorated with flowers.

The visitors, who had queued outside Aaditya`s home, brought a myriad of presents for the former state minister. 

The followers had brought bouquets of flowers and some also presented him with silk shawls on his birthday. 

Mumbai South MP Arvind Sawant was spotted beside the Aaditya Thackeray as he met with the party cadre and supporters. 

Aaditya Thackeray was born to Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and his wife Rashmi on June 13 in 1990. 

The Thackeray scion, who was Maharashtra`s Environment minister, has a Bachelor`s degree in History and LLB degree. 

Aaditya Thackeray entered electoral politics in 2019 however he had been active politically since 2010 when he first took charge of Yuva Sena. 

The Worli MLA was appointed as leader of Shiv Sena in 2018 and a year later contested in Maharashtra Assembly Elections. 

After 2019 assembly poll win, he became the first member of Thackeray family to contest and win elections. 

He, before becoming a minister in the Uddhav Thackeray-led MVA government, had played a significant role in projects helmed by Devendra Fadnavis including the ban on single-use plastics in Maharashtra.
