A fire broke out in a bedroom of an apartment located in a ground-plus-fourth-floor Vinayak Apartment at Shivai Nagar, Thane, at 3.48 pm on Wednesday, according to information received by the disaster management cell

<p>Staff from the Mahavitaran (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, fire brigade (with one fire engine and a rescue vehicle), disaster management cell (with one utility vehicle), and employees of the Mahanagar Gas Company were present at the scene</p>

However, the fire caused damage to the pooja area, cupboard, mattresses, electrical wiring, and other materials in the room
