The Supreme Court will hear on Wednesday, the plea of the Uddhav Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena challenging the Election Commission`s decision of allotting the party name "Shiv Sena" and the symbol "Bow and Arrow" to the Eknath Shinde faction. After challenging the EC decision in the Supreme Court, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that democracy has been murdered and the Supreme Court is the only hope now. Sanjay Raut had also alleged earlier that the party had a transaction of Rs 2000 Crore to get the symbol and the name.
